okay, yall know i'm obsessed with stella mccartney and chloe (one might argue that they are one and the same.) but bottega veneta is fast becoming my third favorite lux label. i don't just love their sexy, well-made pieces - i can see myself living in them. but what makes them so dope, is not just good design -it's good marketing. hence today's b.v news: they are taking their resort collection on line. instead of holding a fashion show for select editors as is usually done, they have decided to send a select group of editors c.d's of the collection with a narrative by tomas maier, creative director. for those of us who aren't on the mailing list, we can log on to their website this thursday and check it out.
