DIOR (AND GALLIANO) DOES IT AGAIN!

fashion is anything but faithful. but luckily, john galliano proves this wrong with his fantastic reign as head designer/creative director at the house of dior. to celebrate his ten year anniversary with the house, as well as dior's 60th anniversary, he threw a spectacular fall couture collection at the palace of versailles, in france. check out the pictures below, all courtesy of wwd.com. my overall thoughts on the collection? first, thanks for asking. next, yes it is grand, and imaginative, and cinematic. but it reminds me of a cirque de soleil show: beautiful on stage, but out of place in real life....
