apparently, even god won't rest when it comes to
louis vuitton. the legendary luxury line has won a year long battle with the french government to remain open on sundays. the french have an iron clad law that prohibit stores of all kinds to open on sundays. but l.v has been able to get around this by arguing that they are "a showcase for culture, there for constituting an exception to the French laws," according to wgsn.com. with the lines that wrap around this flagship store on weekends, i am sure it was as much an issue of culture as it was of cash.
