SHOULD THE GAP GIVE UP!?

these shirts are worth the fight: 70,000 of them go flying off the shelves each year. (source: zadig & voltaire online)

paris, france---i'm just asking!!! the flailing retail "giant" had another whammy delivered by fashionable french clothing chain, zadig & voltaire. according to the upscale retailer, the gap knocked off their best selling shirt, "the tunisien." the shirt, which sells in france for 79 Euros or $109.65, has a "curved neckline" and is studded with "five decorative buttons." according to zadig & voltaire, gap has been selling a copy cat version which retails for $40.25 in the states. the gap has until october 25 to respond to the suit. so far they have declined comment. it just gets worse and worse doesn't it?
