J.CREW GETS PRAISES

Several blogs and magazines swoon over the brand's spring 2010 collection.

In Praise of J.Crew's Spring Presentation

New York - On Wednesday (Oct. 21) J.Crew presented its spring 2010 collection at the company's Astor Place headquarter. From army jackets to print rompers and chiffon tops to sequined miniskirts, the collection had something for everyone. The Cut called the collection "a breath of fresh air" and Fashionista said "the clothes were fantastic," while Lucky commented "you at once wanted to wear the clothes, figure out how to style yourself in exactly this way everyday (down to the hair and makeup), and be Jenna Lyons." For those who don't know Lyons is the brand's creative director, who has gotten her own praises for her personal style. Lucky described her personal style as "glamorous, sporty, girly, vintage-y and boyish," and there is no doubt she channeled her own style to design a collection that we can't wait to be available at all J.Crew stores. Kudos Lyons and team. [Story/Image via The Cut/Also via Fashionista/Lucky]
