D MODE GETS TRIBAL

Models Mey Bun, Rila Fukushima and Ai-li Wang are featured in a Tribal editorial for the magazine.

World Wide Web - Intensely stunning magazine cover comes with a more intensely stunning editorial. All thanks to Laurean Ossorio for the styling, Bryan Zaragoza for the makeup, Brian Buenaventura for hair, Herring & Herring for the photography and Kevin Medal for the post production. Design Scene said that D Mode's Tribal editorial "is the best interpretation of a tribal theme in a fashion editorial to date," and I have to agree. It's very clear that the editorial was well thought out. I love that the dark background brings out the vibrancy of the colors and the detailing of the clothing and accessories is simply beautiful. In other words I know which magazine I'll be purchasing this month.
Here are more amazing photos from the editorial:

  3. It wasn't good on Tyra - http://www.racialicious.com/category/colour-face/

It wasn't good when Lara Stone did it.

It wasn't good in the old minstrel shows of the early 1900s.

So it's never gonna be good. Let's let it go.
