but what exactly is it you ask? well, it's designer phillippe starck's space suit. he designed it for virgin galactic, the british airline's space travel arm. with space travel for the (elite) masses just around the corner, some say as early as 2009, i guess it's actually smart to start designing high-end galactic couture. i guess. louis vuitton is actually getting into the game as well, with monogramed space luggage. i'm sort of speechless right now. and the fact that virgin galactic has over 200 clients signed up for their first space flight has me further stumped. by the way, tickets for that flight cost $200,000 a piece.
