talk about brand extetion, l.l. bean is not playing. the "outdoorsy" brand which specializes in clothing for nature-themed activities (think hiking, running, etc) is opening a theme park near it's flagship store in main. yeah, you read right. a theme park from a clothing brand. in addition to kayaking, biking and showshoeing, guests can also stay and dine at the 700 acre park. i don't know whether to laugh or reserve a ticket asap for the grand opening. no details yet on when the park will debut.
the legendary tote from l.l. bean, every fab white girl i knew had a monogrammed one in college.
