(but in the off chance your pockets are deep enough to buy what is sure to be a very pricey line of sheets and furniture. call me!) per usual, i digress....today's news is: the legendary designer is set to launch a collection of lamps, rugs, wall paper, sheets and tables under his imprint. prototypes of it were on display this week at Salone del Mobile in milan. according to wwd.com, many of the pieces in his collection will be literal reproductions of pieces currently in margiela's headquarters. no word on price points yet, but if they are anything like his ready to wear pieces, then this is sure to break your bank - but at least your flat will look intellectual and fashionable. zandile blayphoto: wwd.com
