New York - For resort 2010, "Complete flexibility" was Donna Karan's aim, with a collection which features a number of free flowing skirts. Comfort appears to be ranking high for many in the fashion industry lately. Andre Leon Talley recently denounced ridiculously high heels, describing career women who have for years succumbed to them for the sake of fashion, as comparable to a "herd of fashion beasts, aping one another in impractical shoes". Likewise, Donna Karan shows that, sometimes, the best fashion doesn't always imply an equitable amount of pain. For this season, at least, it's all about the sway. Lottie Ntim
