new york - for my american fashionistas, nicole miller is a designer who are familiar with. the designing doyenne has made a career out of collections and pieces centered around eclectic themes and inspirations. her spring 2009 collection will be no different as she taps into the history/images/culture of voodoo as her foundation. i caught up with her late last week to interview her for paper magazine and aol. stay tuned for links to the story. in the meantime, feast your eyes on my photo with her. i just spent about four hours transcribing and writing the story (not including the 2 hours i spent reporting it), so never you mind if i try to find a speck of joy in a photo. xo, zb (p.s please get into our matching poses!)

it sounds like a really bad rumor, but alas it's the truth my dear blaynistas. tomorrow morning, between 6 and 7 a.m i will be modeling a "country club chic" swim suit ensemble on the cw morning show. for those of you in the new york/tri-state area, that is chanel 11. for those of you not in the area, i have no idea how you can view this.
