tony hsieh of zappos.com the massive online shoe store (some of us love), zappos.com is expanding. it has now scooped up a rival online shoe seller called 6pm.com. according to reports in wwd.com, zappos will continue to operate the new site seperately from zappos. "We recognize there are a variety of different types of consumers out there,'' said Tony Hsieh, chief executive officer of Zappos.com in wwd.com. "Through Zappos.com and 6pm.com, we want to provide them with the online shopping experience that reflects their unique needs.
