nyc - although fashion icon anna wintour has denied rumors that she is set to retire as editor of vogue magazine, there have still been mutterings and speculation about who might take over her role once she's gone. one name that has been offered is french vogue editor carine roitfeld, who was reported to be taking over the american magazine as early as next month. but her daughter, julia restoin-roitfeld has squashed the gossip saying, "i don’t know how that rumor started. she loves paris too much, she’d never leave."
