KARL LAGERFELD TO LAUNCH A MAGAZINE, BARNEYS TO BLOG
The designer teams up with Purple's Olivier Zahm to put out 31 Rue Cambon and Barneys will launch a blog for merchants and fashion directors.
World Wide Web - H&M and Forever 21 aren't the only fashion lines that are putting out their own magazines (Forever 21's first issue will be out this Friday, Nov. 20). A high-end fashion label is also getting in the glossy action (and definitely giving H&M and F21 fierce competition). That high-end label is none other than Chanel. Karl and Purple's Olivier Zahm have partnered together to launch 31 Rue Cambon, the first Chanel magazine. Zahm, who art-directed and designed for Karl, gave PurpleDiary readers a sneak peak of what the magazine looks like. Barneys also announced their new projects. Today the retailer revealed that they will launch a blog for merchants and fashion directors. They will also expand their video section online. [Story: The Cut/Image: UKTelegraph]
