alberta ferretti has something to smile about...(source:viewimages.com) milan,italy--this is a match made in fashion forward heaven: marithe + francois girbaud are collaborating with massimo and alberta ferretti. the new company will be balled gir+a&f and is 60% owned by the girbaud family. it will also be ran by girbaud family member, olivier bachallerie. expect it's first collection to launch next year with products that are manufacutred from "innovative" textiles. as if this wasn't big enough, over 30 gir+a&f stores are scheduled to open with an additional 50 concessions in department stores across the world. price points are steep though. we are talking around $300 USD for denims and up. i'm gonna start saving my coins because i live for alberta ferretti.
