new york - i don't know about you, but i feel a bit confused by the fendi resort collection. i mean, what resort is the fendi woman going to? there was nothing easy or particurly breezy or bright about these colors. they seemed like clothes designed more for a city break (like nyc, london, or paris) than for a destination exotic enough to be have a "resort." perhaps if i'd had a chance to feel the fabrics the collection would seem more authentically resort, as it stands now, i thought it was good and solid but lacked anything that would classify or categorize it as vacation wear. above are the pieces which i think would actually work well on vacation....there were precious few to pick from. thanks to wwd.com for these photos as well as the dior ones.
