new york - i gotta say, i must really be changing. a mere few months ago, the oscar de la renta resort collection would have bored me to tears. today it makes me tingle with lust. (i must really be getting older and mumsy!) either way, it truly was a fabulous collection.i think it did a good job of staying true to de la renta's roots: dressing rich upper east side women. it was at once demure and lady like, yet still effervescent and youthful. in addition, it's the color palette and fabrics that really set this collection over the top and will make it as editorial (the huge photo shoots you see in fashion magazine's) friendly as any outrageous galliano creation. above are my top picks for what you are bound to see on magazine pages shortly.

Yet another beautiful collection from Oscar de Larenta. I always admire the way the collection is always glamorous, elegant and chic. If the clothes were not too expensive then i would get the entire collection. At the moment i am just sticking to DVF for substitution...
