tokyo - honestly, i want to give it all up - all of it - to be rei kawakubo's intern. she is a straight genius. and so is marc jacobs (say what you will about his personal life!). the duo are behind the collaboration between commes des garcon (rei's brand) and louis vuitton (marc's brand) which has fashionistas in tokyo going crazy. a pop up store was opened yesterday which features kawakubo designed vuitton bags. the collaboration is in honor of vuitton's 30th anniversary in japan. apparently editors and japanese stars were going nuts for the bags. i don't blame them. i personally would have jabbed a chick and stolen a credit card for one. the things fash-on will make you do...
