new york - i love swarovski as much as the next man, woman or tranny. and yet, at times, it seems the fashion world has gone crazy over crystals. above is the perfect case in point: a swarovski encrusted blackberry designed by....vera wang? ( i would have pegged the ever restrained mr. cavalli for this haute mess...) but alas, vera did it. fortunately, or unfortunately (all depending on your state of mind really) you can't purchase this sparklelicious beauty. it was a one night only affair for the breast cancer research fund hot pink party which took place at the waldorf astoria last week. i don't know who the lucky winner was, but as fashion week daily reports, elton john and liza minelli both got their twinkly palms on one. zandile blay
