scotland - so there's a reason why designer pam hogg looks like debbie harry. that's because this designer/rocker/icon has spent a good part of her life dressing and inspiring rock royalty. since catapulting onto the scene in the early '80s the scot-born beauty has kept busy by creating two bands, the dolls and hoggdolls; debuting her own stand alone boutique on carnaby street (which subsequently closed almost a decade later) and developing a cult following amongs musicians like rihanna, kylie, and siouxsie sioux, all of whom have worn hogg's trademark colorful lycra suits for performances. now hogg is finally getting her due with a special award. she is being indicted into the scottish fashion awards hall of fame next week. she follows in the footsteps of previous inductees like bill gibb and graeme black. zandile blay
