fall 2009 ad campaign for stella mccartney's line was infused with and inspired by none other than bambi! "i'm a huge bambi fan, and the film reminds me of my mum…and we wanted to have some fun. the clothes in the campaign are looking quite fierce, and we wanted to contrast them with the innocence of bambi", quoted mccartney to women's wear daily. attempts to "do something new" or "stand out" in the sartorial world often walk a fine line of being loved or laughed at. in my humble opinion, i love stella mccartney, i love bambi, and I love them together even more! thoughts??? –sydney cannon
