ALEXANDER MCQUEEN ON TWITTER

 

This isn't about McQueen's thoughts on the social network he's actually on it, tweeting possibly this very moment.

 

 

www - I have to say I did not expect this. So many other fashion designers come to mind when thinking who among them will catch the Twitter bug and Alexander McQueen somehow was never on my list. But there you have, Blaynistas, it has been confirmed that the London-born fashion designer has joined the addictive social network. Now so far he's just a newbie on it with only two "tweets," and if his first tweet is any indication of when he joined, he signed up yesterday. Under the pseudonym of "McQueenWorld," he tweeted while preparing for his Spring 2010 show: "STRESSED! Microwave head meltdown! sparks flying out of my brain!" And today his press office tweeted: "Camilla Nickerson is here from New York, 2nd fittings begin....heads are down in the studio." If you're interested in following McQueen or simply to welcome him on Twitter, follow him @McQueenWorld.
