VIVIENNE TAM SOARS THROUGH 2010...

 

With a Spring/Summer 2010 collection inspired by butterflies and the debut of her laptop design.

 

 

New York - Vivienne Tam's butterfly-inspired Spring/Summer 2010 collection would make Mariah Carey's heart flutter. Inspired by the classic Chinese love story "Butterfly Lovers," Tam's collection includes flowy pieces in light fabrics that are so right for the Lepidoptera insect. Colors were also a huge part in her show with shades of pink, peach, blue, green, violet and orange used in her designs of mostly long and knee-high dresses. Tam also debuted her 2010 "digital clutch," a laptop conceived from the collaboration between the designer and computer maker (also make-up enthusiast) HP, that went so well with her collection as models carried them down the runway.
