AMAZING! NO REALLY, JUST AMAZING: HUSSEIN CHALAYAN IS PUMA'S NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR

germany - seriously! where have i been in the last few days? I JUST FOUND OUT THAT PUMA HAS SIGNED HUSSEIN CHALAYAN AS THEIR NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR!!!!!! this is BEYOND huge. this is actually just beyond beyond. sorry if i am rambling here, or too keen on this news but the fact is chalayan is one of the greatest creative talents in our time and i can see him doing AMAZING things at puma. he will be in charge of designing, and creating sportswear collections for the german based company. this is such a win-win situation because puma in turn will be supporting chalayan's nacme sake line by pumping much needed cash into his collections. this is SUCH a crazy time in fashion right now because as you know, chalayan's fellow central saint martins graduate, kim jones, also made a similarly unexpected move to alfred dunhill. between these two, it's safe to say we can look forward to some pretty exciting collections from puma.
