(thanks to theblacksocialite.blogspot.com for photo)new york - so did you even know these two were dating? curator of the studio museum in harlem, thelma golden and nigerian born designer duro olowu got married on january 2nd. golden told american vogue, "i always imagined i would spend ages planning my wedding, yet this felt perfect." it must have also felt rushed. olowu, proposed to golden just before christmas and soon after the pair bought the ring: a tiffany's etoile collection pave diamond (just the kind i want franklin, wink! wink!). the got married in new york city hall and are still planning their honeymoon. according to vogue parties in new york, london and nigeria are planned for this year. oh! and what did the bride wear? duro olowu. naturally.
