new york - last time charlotte ronson hosted a soiree for her j.c. penny "I [HEART] RONSON" line in los angeles it was followed with a restraining order and a break-up. all thanks to lindsay lohan, samantha ronson's on-and-off girlfriend. it, of course, put attention to the event but the buzz was all about lohan. this time around charlotte ronson's party in new york city on thursday night for her line was calm, cool and collected with the spotlight on her. a bevy of hollywood young stars, such as sophia bush, zoe kravitz, hilary duff and mischa barton, dressed casually stylish as they showed up at chelsea piers to support ronson. the summer-themed bash was complete with an indoor beach volleyball court, cotton candy machines and hot pink barbeque grills, but it was the pop-up boutiqute made to appear like ronson's closet full of pieces from her line that became the main attraction. i wonder what new york times writer cintra wilson thought of this party.
