PRABAL GURUNG'S SPRING 2010 COLLECTION

The designer continues to impress the industry with his second eponymous collection.

New York - It was all black, blue, and white for Prabal Gurung's Spring 2010 Collection. The Singapore-born designer presented at the Flag Art Foundation this afternoon, and it's his second showing of his eponymous collection with his first in Fall 2009. His show attracted some of the important people in the fashion jounalism industry such as Rachel Zoe giving a personal tour of the collection to Vogue Senior Marketing Editor Meredith Melling Burke and The New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn. The attention is well-deserved as Gurung continues to show his skill as an artistic designer and visionary. The designer includes "Maggie Betts, Zoe Saldana, and Indre Rockefeller" as his inspirations for his collection of mostly coctail dresses. Lastly can I just say, "Those shoes!" Mama likes.
