VENA CAVA CLIMBS THE LADDER
The fashion brand shows its collection at the Meatpacking District.New York - This morning at the Meatpacking District on west 15th Street, Vena Cava had its hybrid runway show/presentation. The show began with the models walking down the runway around a series of ladders, and then taking their places on or next to a ladder when walking back to the front of the runway, while the indie rock band Fiery Furnaces performed live in the show. This made it easy for guests to take photographs of the steady models and their beautifully-made wardrobes. Designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai completed the models' looks, wearing mini-dresses, high-waisted shorts, backless dresses and MC-inspired pants, with purple lips, blue nails and black platform shoes. It also appears that the visor is coming back with a chic vengeance.
