New York - DKNY is taking full advantage of it's unisex name by adding a boys line to their girls label. They debuted it earlier this week to handful of New York City editors. A quick scan of the eight images of the collection posted on New York Magazine online shows that the design team knows that slow and steady wins the race. Notice that the models are not over styled and the ensembles are clean, simple, and modern. They echo the trademark optiminism and almost retro flair (at least in styling, if not design) of the DKNY womens collection. I'm into it. I'm loving it. Slightly confused that they would launch something new in a "bad" economy. But carpe diem Donna girl.
