BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!! CASE IN POINT

Designer Carolina Herrera walks on the runway at the Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Tent, Bryant Park on September 8, 2008 in New York City.

USA- Carolina Herrera has lived in the United States for 28 years, but this past Friday the prolific designer became an American citizen, "I was constantly testing people in my office," Herrera said of her studying habits before her naturalization exam. "I told them, 'With this test, you would never become a citizen. Now I know more than they do," she joked. Nonetheless, the Venezuelan designer said, "I have been here for many years, and I love this country very much. I love New York and everything about America" Well Carolina we are soo glad to have you now.. better late than never :)

A BARBIE DOLLHOUSE FOR GROWN UPS

Interior designer Jonathan Adler is launching a Barbie home accessory line for adults.

GROOVY: Now Barbie is for big girls, too, with accessories (above) such as cosmetic and sunglass cases and change purses designed by Jonathan Adler.

World Wide Web - Still mad your mama didn't buy that pink Barbie dollhouse you wanted for your eight birthday? Well, it's Jonathan Adler to the rescue. The interior designer first was tapped by Mattel to design a life-size Malibu beach house for Barbie's 50th anniversary, and he has now moved on to launching a 22-piece line of home furnishings that includes hot-pink throws, lamps, dinner plates and kitchen canisters. Adler says, "I am a rigorous, modernist designer, and it was an incredibly fun project -- to channel my own inner Barbie and release a pink, glam, kittenish collection." Now if you're thinking, "I might be too old for this now," Adler believes that there is "an inner Barbie lurking in most women" and this is your "chance to get in touch with and unleash it." So how about it, Blaynistas? Are you convinced to unleash your inner Barbie? [Story/Images via nypost.com]

LINDSAY LOHAN JUST SAW HER OFFICE AT UNGARO FOR THE FIRST TIME.....

The new Artistic Director at Ungaro, and former stalker of SamRo, is obvi working really hard.

Paris - According to NYMAG our girls is tweeting invites and dropping by her office (for the first time). "It's so pretty! I was shocked&so happy I cried!!! A dream come true!," she Tweets. The show is presented on Sunday. It ought to be a ke-kakkle!

EVERYONE IS GOING GAGA OVER LADY'S OUTFIT BUT......

Lady Gaga Shocks Again With another pantless, panty look.

New York - So she's wearing Alexander Wang Spring 2010 shades and a custom made Marc Jacobs moment. Cool. But what am I gagging over? The MAYJAH side-eye that Dr. Dre (to the left) is serving! I die! Don't you? Okay, moving on......[The Cut]

PARIS: GARETH PUGH STILL ROCKS (and might debut a cheaper line!)

The English designer is one of the first to show during Paris Shows.

Paris -....and we j'adore! Here's a peek at some of the clothes making it down the runway. I die. Pugh's looks are not necessarily wearable on the average figure, but they are a marvel to see and get one (or at least this one) so excited about clothing. It looks as future fantastic , or gothic chic, as one would expect Pugh's shows to be, but yet it doesn't feel as though he is a one trick pony. In other news.....our boy is considering a stab at an affordably priced diffusion line. In an interview with Style.com he says:

I have considered it. The offers have come in, and every time we get an offer, I mull it over. I’d like more people to have access to my clothes, but the timing hasn’t been right, or the project hasn’t been right, or some combination of both those things. The first time I was approached, I wasn’t even producing the garments I was showing on the runway. I didn’t have a factory. Everything I was making, I was making by hand. Doing a fast-fashion collection seemed a little premature.

In other words, those companies that asked before, they should keep asking?

Sure, keep asking. And I’ll keep thinking.

I DIE! I DIE! JIL SANDER FOR UNIQLO LAUNCHES TODAY

One of the most anticipated collaborations launches in Uniqlo stores today. Are you ready?

New York - We are! The collaboration is going to feature mens and womens pieces at affordable price points. Look for clean silos, and simple, classic and chic pieces ala the traditional Jil Sander but at much cheaper price points. Okay....back to dying! [via Racked]

YOU KNOW WHAT? THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I LOVE FASHION!

Louboutin partners with Le Rituel to create a champagne/stiletto set.

Paris - Because really, you always buy your champagne with your stilettos. It's an odd set to buy together, but whatevs. It's Louboutin, that should explain everything. (Landlord: your rent is mad late ma! Zandile: It's Louboutin boo!) But I digress...the French shoe phenom has partnered with the French wine phenom to create this ....phenom set....which includes the obvious. It's available at - where else? - Colette, starting October 26th. [via The Thread]
