YOHJI YAMAMOTO IS COMING SOON

a look at the logo: yohji's name is no where to be found, as the label feels that it can sell itself. i like that kind of swagger. (photo from girlandthecity.wordpress.com)

looks like very casual standard fare. my verdict: don't think i'd buy it if i was a guy. the price points are a bit high for such simple pieces - both in concept and style. i'd put my cash towards original yohji yamamoto pieces, and stick to levi's, american apparel, and gap for my staples. (thanks to kitmeout.com for photos)

milan - the menswear shows in paris were the site of a brand new label launch: coming soon by yohji yamamoto. c.s, as i'll call it, is secondary line that makes the yamamoto aesthetic available at a lower price point. of course, that's relative as t-shirts will be retailing for 80 euros (or roughly $160) and jackets will retail for 530 euros (or roughly $1060). the collection features "staples," such as jeans, and knitwear. according to a spokesperson, the line has a "japanese dna....but european fit." all that sounds interesting, as does their advertising strategy: commercials that play like movie previews in locations across the world.

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!

Mike
