new york - i know my dear readers....you never ask, but boy do i love to tell. i just wanted to take a minute to say thank you - sincerely - for reading my blog. many of you run blogs of your own or are writers yourselves so you know that no matter how much, or how little, i post it is still a very time intensive endeavor. it feels so good to know that day after day hundreds of you are logging on to hear what lil' old me has to say and are spreading the word about this here report...i am finally all settled in new york (though i'll be returning to london in september) and promise to continue blogging regularly until i have to go back to europe (traveling makes me very dodgy with my daily posts.) one way i can guarantee this: I JUST GOT MY FIRST APARTMENT in n.y.c. blaynistas! i am super excited. please stay tuned for pics. this means i won't be lugging my lil laptop all over the city to blog for you guys, i'll be doing it from the comfort of my very own space. i'm still blogging for america online style dash (www.styledash.com) paper magazine (www.papermag.com) and the huffington post (www.huffingtonpost.com) so be sure to check those sites regularly to view my work. and finally i am trying my hand at a beauty blog. i love beauty, but don't want to shift the focus of this blog by focusing too much on it here - so i launched a new one: blay beauty report. it's in it's early stages so don't judge too much. but check it out and let me know your thoughts. again, thanks so much for being my reader. you are a smart little cookie for picking me as your blogger. x, zb

I am a writer, like you, and I have way too many blogs at the moment. So I am just passing along one blog idea that might help you save time and preserve your sanity. It might be better to -- instead of making a whole different beauty blog -- create a special regular beauty feature on here like "Face and Body Friday" or something where you could just do a weekly rundown of the best beauty stuff. I am sure the regular Zandile Report readers would enjoy it and you wouldn't have to juggle a whole 'nuther blog.
Anyway, just my two cents. ;)
