BETSEY JOHNSON'S FUN HOUSE

The designer brings colors and champagne to her Spring 2010 show.

 

 

New York - I am going to make it my mission in the future to attend a Betsey Johnson show because I love that the models are genuinely having fun as shown at her Spring 2010 show. It doesn't matter if they are faking it or are really enjoying themselves, but they make it look like her show was the one to attend this week. The designer's spring collection was a punk rocker's dream (and very much of her personality too), which included sequin dresses, tulle, layering, ruffles, more layering, head bows and fun make up. And that was only for the female models. The male models wore tie dyed T-shirts and tank tops, black skinny jeans and sunglasses. Ida Maria performed on stage, which had the models getting it down, but I do think the champagne they were drinking might have contributed a lot with the general liveliness of the show. Now as much as I love to go on and on I'm going to let the pictures do the talking instead.
